Goldenwest Holds Annual Meeting and Announces Board Election Results
Goldenwest Federal Credit Union members, employees and volunteers attended the 75th Annual Business Meeting on Tuesday, April 5th at the corporate headquarters in Ogden. The meeting included the presentation of the 2010 Annual Report to the membership as well as the results from the recent Board of Directors election.
Goldenwest members elected incumbent Tad Neuenswander and Karen Kagie to serve as Directors for a three year term.
Tad Neuenswander resides in Kaysville and has been a Goldenwest member for 35 years. He holds an MBA and currently works for a high-tech systems integration and consulting company. Neueswander has volunteered on the Board of Directors for nine years, including service as Chairman.
Karen Kagie resides in Clearfield and has been a Goldenwest member for 15 years. She has a background in both accounting and real estate. Kagie has also served in numerous volunteer positions in the community, including the GOAL Foundation, Your Community Connection and Christmas Box House.
Following the Annual Meeting, the Board named Bill Hart as Chairman, Lloyd Beutler as Vice-Chairman, and Jeanette Smyth as Secretary for the coming year.
Founded in 1936, Goldenwest has more than 81,000 members and $770 million in assets. The credit union is headquartered in Ogden, and has eighteen branches in Weber, Davis, Morgan, Salt Lake, Utah, and Washington counties.
