Davis Chamber Honors Goldenwest With "Employer of the Year" Award

Ogden, UT: October 27, 2022 – The Davis Chamber of Commerce recently honored Goldenwest Credit Union with the 2022 “Employer of the Year” award. The three finalists for the award were asked to demonstrate to the Award Selection Committee why workforce development is important to their organizations, how they support employees, and how they create positive company cultures. The winner of the award was announced during the Davis Chamber’s Annual Business Awards Banquet held at the Davis Conference Center. Ashley Shreeve, Senior Vice President for Human Resources and Employee Development, accepted the award on behalf of the Credit Union.

Goldenwest is in its fifth decade of serving members in Davis County. The first Goldenwest location outside of Weber County, and fourth office in the branch network, opened in Davis County east of the Layton Hills Mall in 1984. Since that time, Goldenwest has expanded throughout the County with offices in Clearfield (1997), Clinton (2004), Kaysville (2010), Centerville (2012), Bountiful (2013), Farmington (2018), and North Salt Lake (2018).
