Goldenwest Credit Union was honored with the Partners In Education Award this morning at an event co-hosted by the Ogden/Weber Chamber of Commerce, Weber School District and Ogden School District. Goldenwest Chairman Bill Hart and President/CEO Kerry Wahlen accepted the award on behalf of the Credit Union.

Goldenwest Holds Ribbon Cutting For Operations Center
Goldenwest Credit Union celebrated the opening of its new Operations Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony held December 23, 2015. More than 150 people attended the event, including credit union board volunteers and employees, Ogden/Weber Chamber of Commerce officials, and dignitaries from Weber County, Washington Terrace City and Utah State University.

Members Earn Bonus Dividend For 12th Consecutive Year
Goldenwest Credit Union is proud to announce a year-end bonus dividend of $1.2 million will be paid to members on December 31, 2015. The Board of Directors approved the one-time bonus dividend payout at the monthly board meeting held on November 18, 2015. This is the largest bonus dividend paid in Goldenwest history, and the 12th consecutive year the credit union has paid a bonus dividend to members.

The esteemed list includes credit unions that have excelled in creating quality workplaces for their employees. Goldenwest achieved this honor in the category for large credit unions with more than $1 billion in assets.
