Talent On The Front Lines

At Goldenwest, we view our employees among our most important assets. In our 19-branch network, we have an excellent team of front-line staff who are ready to achieve your goals for financial success.
As our credit union grows, so do the career opportunities for our employees. Whenever possible, we strive to fill position from the talent-pool within our organization. We are pleased to announce several recent promotions for our branch management team.
Randy Ferlin was highly recommended to be named business development manager for our Lehi office, located inside Macey’s grocery store. Randy has done an excellent job in that position at our Provo office during the past year. In addition to managing a branch office, Randy is currently pursuing a degree in business finance from Utah Valley University. The month of May will be busy for Randy, as he is opening a branch office and getting married. Best wishes to Randy on both accounts.
Jared Steed is assuming the role of business development manager at our Provo office, located inside BuyLow Market. Jared is making the move to Provo from our Layton office. He is excited for the opportunity to lead this growing branch, and we look forward to great things from him and his team. Jared has been studying accounting at Weber State University, and has plans to transfer to Utah Valley University in the near future.
Maggie Peterson was recently named business development manager for our east Ogden office located on Harrison Boulevard. Maggie started at Goldenwest nine years ago as a teller, and has held every position possible in a branch office since that time. Most recently, Maggie has served as the assistant manager in Layton. Maggie was an environmental science major at Weber State University.
Jessica Keller is our new leader at the Sandy office, located inside Macey’s grocery store. Jessica started at the Sandy branch six years ago as a teller. She is another excellent example of an employee working hard at the teller line, and working her way through the various positions in the branch office…including assistant manager the last couple of years.
Angelika Padilla is now serving as the assistant manager at our Roy branch. Angelika has been with Goldenwest for five years, working in various branch positions at our offices in Farr West, South Ogden, Kaysville and Roy. She also worked out of corporate office as a new accounts trainer.
