17th Annual Goldentree
December 9, 2015
As the holidays approach, the need for charitable donations increases. Many people struggle to stay warm during the cold winter months, and there are families who have to go without at Christmas. Helping others is a great way to lift your own spirits, while spreading a little holiday cheer to those who need it most.
We are proud to say Utah consistently ranks as the most charitable state, giving 6.56% of their adjusted gross income in charitable donations last year. As we reflect on all the things we are grateful for, we become more inclined to share our good fortune with those less fortunate. Lifting each other up in times of need has the added benefit of making us feel good too.
This year marks Goldenwest’s 17th annual “Golden Tree” holiday giving campaign. This program provides local children with much needed winter clothing, along with toys from each child’s Christmas wish list. This year, Goldenwest is sponsoring 63 children from 25 different families referred by Weber Human Services.
If you would like to make a donation, visit any Goldenwest branch from Brigham City to Bountiful and choose a child’s name from the Golden Tree display. You can also make a monetary donation on our website.
