IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER

Mid April - Replacement ATM & Visa Cards

Replacement Visa credit and debit cards will arrive in the mail mid-April but cannot be activated until May 1, 2017. Directions for activation will be on a sticker attached to your card. Continue using your existing Visa cards through April 30, 2017.

April 28 - Temporary Service Outage Scheduled

Beginning Friday, April 28, 2017 at 3 p.m. Mountain Time through early morning Monday, May 1, 2017, online and mobile banking, including bill pay, will be unavailable for conducting transactions during a scheduled outage. Account alerts will not be functioning during the outage, and new alerts must be set up after you register for the Goldenwest Online Branch. Shared branching will not be available during the outage. The Healthcare Credit Union online banking system will be available in read-only mode. Existing Visa credit and debit cards will be available for use during this time.

May 1 - System Conversion Complete

The operating system merger will be completed early morning on Monday, May 1, 2017. We request members take action on the following items the morning of May 1st to avoid interruption of service on your accounts:

  • Activate and begin using new Visa credit and debit cards;
  • Register for the new online banking system at gwcu.org, and download the free Goldenwest mobile banking app; and,
  • Begin using new account number and routing number for all transactions related to your account.

Early May - New Checks

Members who actively write checks on their accounts will receive a new box of checks in early May. Upon receiving your new checks in the mail, begin using them immediately. Destroy your old checks to avoid confusion and/or identity theft.

September 30 - Checks, Automatic Payment and Direct Deposit

September 30, 2017, is the final day that transactions will clear with your old account number and/ or routing number. All transactions involving paper checks, automatic payments, and direct deposit should be updated with your new account number and routing number by this date.
